WILL GAYS GO TO HEAVEN?
By Loveda Knore Finley (the author’s wife)
BIG BOOK FOR A BIG PROBLEM!
The United States of America, and many countries throughout the world, are faced with a moral and social dilemma. The numbers of people coming out of the gay closet are overwhelming, leaving government officials, religious leaders, employers, armed forces, moms, dads, sisters, brothers, children, etc., scratching their heads wondering and debating what is right and what is wrong.
The problem is not going away, so it must be addressed intellectually. But what do we use as a point of reference?
Traditionally, the moral values that determine our laws have been based on the moral guidance of the Old and New Testaments, referred to as the Bible. Unfortunately, in this era, the majority of the people do not know what is contained in this book of wisdom. The remaining folks oftentimes merely choose their favorite verses and then portray themselves as theological experts.
Those who are coming out of the closet have the overwhelming burden of trying to live fulfilling lives without hurting their non-gay loved ones, while also facing degradation by society.
For the sake of homosexuals and non-homosexuals, Tim has devoted more than a year meticulously writing this book. It is composed of Bible passages systematically arranged to reveal God’s word regarding this sensitive topic, primarily focusing on the eternal destination of everybody. We are all here today, but gone tomorrow, so our eternal destinations should be of utmost importance.
How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone. James 4:14
Do not be intimidated by the overwhelming size of this book. Tim’s last book — JESUS CHRIST Is the EASY and ONLY Way to HEAVEN — is also a large textbook; however, all who have purchased it have been delighted with its comprehensiveness. Many keep it beside their Bible for reference.
Tim is an uncompromising researcher whose mission is to leave no stones unturned regarding the study of Christian salvation. To ascertain the entire truth, as revealed in God’s Word, Tim prays for guidance from the Holy Spirit as he researches all of the passages regarding this crucial topic. Comparing each passage with other parts of the Bible, he establishes an understanding of the language and customs of the time they were written. His painstaking efforts are an attempt to completely comprehend what the original writer(s) intended to communicate.
Tim labors uncompromisingly to ascertain truth for his students; he is a fanatic about explaining what he discovers. The following verse motivates him:
Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
I am confident you will learn from Tim’s Holy Spirit-inspired book. I did.
